Below are some answers to some commonly asked questions about BarCamb. If you have a question that isn’t answered, please leave it in the comments and I’ll add it to the list.

Do I have to give a presentation?

No, you don’t have to give a presentation if you don’t want to but we do encourage it. This kind of event is only as good as the presentations that are given. If everyone who turned up decided not to present, the day would be over in 10 minutes. You can present on anything you think is relevant (design, programming, making a cup of tea).

I want to stay overnight. Is there anything I need to bring?

A sleeping bag, a pillow and a change of clothes should be enough. There are showers at the venue that can be used so you should also bring a towel if you plan to use them.
